You Make It Happen With AITP!

AITP is it’s members. Here in San Diego we have no paid staff - our Chapter volunteers make everything possible! From leadership to marketing, web services and communication, serving in these positions is a great way to be part of the IT community, participate in chapter events, build your resume and build new skills.

Volunteering our time and talent is one way we live the our Core Values of Respect and Service:

“We build an inclusive environment through mentoring, delivering on commitments, working together with trust, and enjoying the camaraderie of each other.”

“We keep current in technology, business, and academia. We contribute to the Association, IT profession, and society utilizing leadership, appropriate solutions, and sound processes.”

AITP needs your energy and ideas to help us grow and find new and better ways to serve our membership! Here are just a few of the current openings.

  • Marketing Committee - Have a gift for attracting attention?

  • Partners & Affiliates Committee – Are you talented in making connections? We are looking to expand our links with related professional associations.

  • Sponsor Committee - Develop relationships with vendors to provide enhanced benefits to our membership.

  • General IT Help – Work on our website or provide various types of IT support. This position is great for students who want hands on experience on their resume.

  • Communications & Social Media – Members who enjoy writing and keeping our members informed as to what is going on in both the chapter and the industry. Contribute to our blog, LinkedIn group, and more.
