Bimala TullockSr. Manager, Champion Enablement
Bimala Tullock was raised in Portland Oregon with hippy parents and a fear of all things “high-tech” but with a love of science, psychology, and patterns. Full disclosure - she’s still trying to figure out Bluetooth!
After venturing to Silicon Valley in the late 90’s (with a 4 year old in tow) she was dared to take the leap into “high-tech”. Not one to back down from a dare she dove in, fully terrified, but determined. Quickly she realized that technology wasn’t about complicated things. It’s about simplicity and translating what we do every day into something that could be tracked, measured and even automated so that people could concentrate on more complicated, meaningful tasks and (hopefully) help the world – family, friends, or beyond. She was hooked!
Technology for technology sake hasn’t been her driving passion but rather technologies that provide overall improvement of our day-to-day lives, simplify the way we get stuff done, and solve problems.
Bimala’s career focus has included: Creating a Global Champion Enablement & customer success programs to assist customers with solution adoption and expansion
Translation of business requirements to implementation requirements of technical solution to solve business issues
Restoration and re-commissioning of historic properties
And importantly… Partnering for a balanced life, home and family

Founder & CEO Geek Girl
Disruptive sardonic rabble-rouser, CEO @GeekGirlCamp, Lover of Capitalism, Aussies, $AAPL, Halloween, military hardware & stainless steel kitchen appliances…
Leslie is best known as the Founder & CEO of Geek Girl, everyone’s favorite resource for empowering women in tech, supporting startups and making technology easy to understand and use for everyone from 8-88. Geek Girl accomplishes this through its highly touted, localized Geek Girl Tech Conferences around the country, workshops, seminars, consulting, Help Desks, and Geek Girl for Hire.
Leslie’s vision for education, evangelism, entrepreneurialism, and empowering women is apparent when you meet her. Leslie prides herself on being “the resource”, and will share everything she knows about entrepreneurialism, startups, growing your business and tech trends with anyone who asks. She is overly, nay, abundantly passionate about Geek Girl and spends every minute of the day trying to come up with new ideas for the female-powered organization to serve everyone; female and male.
Leslie has been involved in internet startups since the first DotCom bubble in 1997 in Boston and has been a champion for startups as well as women in tech since then. Prior to Geek Girl, Leslie was the Marketing Director for financial web startup StockTwits, and previous to that was at the helm of Genevate, a web applications company she and business partner and geeky boyfriend, Chris Corriveau started in 2002. (They are both still talking to each other.)
Leslie now calls San Diego her home, along with said geeky boyfriend and their three devoted but highly manipulative Australian Shepherds Nano, Duke and Pepper. When they aren’t working on their own startups, you can find them supporting, mentoring and investing in other startups around the country, taking long walks on San Diego beaches with their dogs, practicing their 2nd amendment rights and eating fish tacos.
Sally Allain has over fifteen years of global Program Management experience in biotech and pharmaceutical research and development. Currently, Sally is a Director at Jansen R&D, a pharmaceutical company of Johnson & Johnson, leading a team responsible for business operations and alliance management for Research Immunology’s external collaboration portfolio: focused on early drug discovery, technology platforms, and disease understanding, while partnering with J&J’s global Innovation Centers to drive strategic initiatives.
Following her B.S. & M.Sc. in Microbiology/Immunology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State Univ., she recognized she needed to ‘get off the bench’ and took a leap of faith on a bioinformatics position for a small start-up in San Diego. She resides in Monterey, telecommuting for work spending her time between San Diego, San Francisco, Menlo Park, and Pennsylvania, when not spoiled with international business travel to connect with partners.
